I love that toy manufacturers have figured out the circle of life with their characters and toys. They know that parents love the throwbacks – we drool over Classic Pooh for our newborn and squeal when we see My Little Pony on the shelves. (I’m not one for the characters in general, but I do love [...] I must be totally naive, because I thought evolution was something all kids learned in school—no matter what. It turns out that’s not the case. And when it is, those “theories” aren’t taught until late elementary school or middle school. My son loves dinosaurs and sea creatures. (He really calls them “sea [...] A couple of months ago, my husband went on a business trip. This happens pretty frequently, but this one happened to coincide with my mom going on a trip. Which left me with no child care and a ton of work to do. Before she took off, my mom gave my son a LeapFrog Tag.
