Your Mama Loves Stila Custom Color Blush

I’m pretty clueless when it comes to blush.  But unless I’m kind of flushed from working out or I just got too much sun, I really need it.   At 30, I’ve learned that a little blush can go a long way toward perking up my complexion and making me look more lively than tired and cranky.

Up until now, I’d been using Tarte Blushing Bride cheek stain, but I’ve been craving a simple powder that takes less time to look right and doesn’t feel goopy in the summer months.

Stila recently launched a Stila Custom Color Blush and I was kind of scared of it since the blush looks like it’s Jem and the Holograms hot pink in the compact.  I tried it out and found that it’s actually the coolest thing ever.  I sweep it on and boom, a pitch-perfect blush that suits my skin tone and isn’t too over the top.  It’s definitely pink-ish but not the kind of pink that makes you look like an old lady.  I dig it!  At $20, I’m hoping it lasts a long time.  Luckily I don’t wear makeup every day or even every week, so I’m thinking it’ll last me.
