Your Mama Loves SmartyPants

I’m a fan of vitamins.  I remember dutifully taking my Flintsones vitamine ever day as a kid.  I loved big chewable Vitamin C tablets as an older kid.  (What is WITH those things?  Why does nothing taste as awesome?)

As a parent, I’m still a fan of vitamins.  I have a severe vitamin D deficiency despite living in sunny Florida.  Because of this, I’ve learned that sometimes you might not get enough of what you need.  And my kids are picky goofball eaters and I’m not always the best cool and well, as a result I feel better giving them supplements.

I’ve tried a few different kinds, from Target brand gummies to liquid you mix with juice.  Right now, I’m really loving SmartyPants.  SmartyPants sent me some samples to try out and my son loves them.  (One of the reasons he loves them is that he gets to eat four gummies instead of two.)

SmartyPants gummy vitamins are softer than a regular candy gummy bear.  They’re sweet (sweetned with cane sugar) but not too sweet.

Here’s why I like them:

  • SmartyPants donates money for every bottle of vitamins sold through Vitamin Angels.
  • They contain Omega 3 DHA & Vitamin D combined in a gummy multi-vitamin, plus 13 other nutrients.
  • They educate parents on their website.
