I’ve had a bit of baby fever lately. My twins are 7 and it isn’t likely I’ll be having another. So why am I looking at baby clothes? Because they are so stinkin’ cute and and hey, a girl can dream, right?
I have to say that the baby clothes are much cuter than when I had my kids. I bought them all of the Zutano clothes I could afford, but there just wasn’t the huge selection of adorable things I see now. The baby clothes makers are to blame for my baby fever!
Anyway, I saw these onesies from Wry Baby and want to know what you guys think. So cute, or obnoxious? The Someday I’ll demand a pony one is not controversial, and neither is the Someday I’ll have a hairy chest one, but what about Someday I’ll get trashed at Prom and Someday I’ll egg a house. Obviously, the little ones can’t read yet and start making those plans, but is it hilarious or does it cross a line?
I think they are awesome, but I think we all know someone who would definitely give us the stink-eye for dressing our baby in these. What do you think?

Just look at this little girl’s top by Zutano with owls (I am super-partial to owls)! I mean, this is just torture!

I have to say, I really don’t enjoy baby clothes like that, I think they are sort of tacky and that the parents are trying to be too cool.

I think these are adorable! As long as they are not offensive or tacky I think sayings on kids clothes are fun!!!

I don’t like it. But then again, I don’t like “princess” clothes for my little girl; I don’t want her to buy in to the message that she deserves everything and a prince charming will give it all to her.
Jen, I agree on the trashed at prom and egg a house. If I would be horrified if my kid actually grew up and did that I wouldn’t want him to wear it. What I should have said is that two are awesome and two are pretty squicky.

Christine, I love funny kid sayings too. I would draw the line at would I let them wear it if they can read and it was in bad taste.

Anitra, I’m with you on that. I prefer the Zutano clothes. They are just cute animals and great colors, and so soft!

My kid would def wear the egg a house one. But, we’re talking about an imaginary kid here, so, it’s probably an imaginary house.

Love the owl shirt! Darn you – My husband keeps yelling at me for buying baby clothes – even though 90% of the ones we have were given to us and I’m just trying to mitigate some of the “ocean of pink” effect.
