I’ll tell you up front that, sadly, this post has no giveaway, no coupon, no contest. But I beg you to read this short write-up because we have a serious subject on the line:
Girl Scout Cookies are one of those guilty indulgences that I try so desperately to avoid every year, but alas, my will is too weak. I always end up picking up a few boxes from the little girl who knocks on my door, or from the troop outside the local supermarket.
I justify it by telling myself, “Dude, it’s the Girl Scouts. It’d be un-American to NOT buy them.” Right?
Anyway. Seems that most of us have our favorite cookies. I love Thin Mints and Tagalongs. I could easily eat a box of each by myself.
But this year, I’ll be adding a new flavor to my cookie repertoire: Thank U Berry Munch.
This flavor is new for 2010. The name’s a little silly, but I cannot emphasize this enough: These cookies are delicious. No, irresistible. If I weren’t such a freak for peanut butter and chocolate, I’d say that Thank U Berry Munch is my new favorite Girl Scout cookie flavor.
Let me tell you why:
- Real cranberries
- White chocolate fudge chips (yes, I said white chocolate fudge chips)
- Perfect blend of crunch and softness
So next time you pass by those Girl Scouts on your way into the supermarket, don’t deny them. Fork over a few bucks and tell them “Thank U Berry Munch!”

I too have added the new flavor to my list and it is futile to try no to order them every year. I say do it with total committment and enjoy them guilt free
