I must be totally naive, because I thought evolution was something all kids learned in school—no matter what. It turns out that’s not the case. And when it is, those “theories” aren’t taught until late elementary school or middle school. My son loves dinosaurs and sea creatures. Earlier this year, my mom bought him a LeapFrog Tag reader. As the months have progressed, he’s become more and more familiar with how the Tag works. I can always count on 15-20 minutes [...] This is going to be a hard review to write. I mean, I want the kid to have fun. I do. But willfully giving a 9 year old air-powered rifle that shoots marshmallows is a recipe for torment. For melty gooey sticky messes (taking the Florida sun into account).
