Your Mama Loves Yummy Smelling Baby Laundry

I do a lot of laundry.  I think anyone with kids can attest to the piles and piles, but when you add cloth diapers to the mix, the piles get bigger and bigger.  Then, you add to that the list of do’s and don’ts for diaper laundry, and you’ve got yourself a mess of ugly laundry chaos.   Or, wait. That might just be my laundry situation.  But it’s the truth.

I have been using a variety of different laundry soaps (I’m a sucker for new smells, different products and change in general) for my diaper laundry.  When one runs out, I try something different.  So far, I’ve not had much success in veering from my tried and true

.   Then, Ashley at Crunchy Clean sent us some samples to try out and I fell in love.

I love to support WAHMs, and I love things that are crunchy.  Earth friendly, safe and non-toxic, made in someone’s kitchen?  Yes, please.  Crunchy Clean laundry detergents are made for both everyday use and specifically for cloth diapers and my favorite thing about them?  The scents she uses are unbelievable.

Specifically, I tried the Rice Milk & Mallow scent, which unfortunately is not available on her site right now (sorry friends!).  It smelled like candy.  Like fresh pancakes on a Sunday morning.  Like a heavenly mix of creamy sweet goodness that I couldn’t wait to wrap my babygirl in.

To be honest, the scent was strong and might put some scent-sensetive folks off;  for me, it was perfect.

The laundry soap worked very well for the two loads I did.  The diapers came out fresh smelling and clean;  I know there was no residue or build-up in them; and they would be safe for my baby’s sensitive bottom.

It’s hard to find laundry detergents that smell awesome and aren’t chock full of chemicals, so when I do, I am happy to tell people about them.
