We all know sunscreen is ultra important for babies. The problem I’ve found is that many baby sunscreens are so thick, it feels like you’re applying spackle to your little one.
Invasion of the Pod People trailer Blind Fury movie download One Step Ahead sent me a sample of the Baby Blanket Sun Smart Travel Kit to try on my daughters. This kit includes Baby Blanket sunscreen spray, sunblock towelettes, tender scalp sunscreen and sunblock just for the face.
I wasn’t expecting much. I figured it was just another baby sunscreen. But the first thing I noticed was that the lotion is unbelievably easy to apply. It doesn’t have that thick consistency that most baby sunblocks have. This stuff is almost as easy to apply as a regular lotion! When you have a squirmy baby, this is a godsend.

A few specific notes:
- If your baby has hair, the scalp spray will leave her looking like a greaseball. See the photo for an example.
- I didn’t find any difference between the sunblock spray and the sunblock for faces.
- The sunblock spray doesn’t spray well at different angles, so I’d go for the regular squeeze-tube lotion.
- The towelettes were surprisingly handy but not as cost efficient. I also didn’t feel super comfortable applying it to the face area.
- All bottles are travel-friendly in TSA-approved sizes. Very handy!

We’ve been to the Myrtle Beach, SC and the Hartwell Lake in Anderson, SC, both times I poured on the sunscreen! My little man is pale (so am I) and I hate the idea of him getting sunburned! I’m LOVING the scalp spray, Ty always looks like a grease slick when I’m done with him and he won’t keep a hat on the whole time either!

The sunniest trip I had with my kidlets was when we went up to Parksville BC where the beaches are endless and the water doesn’t ever seem to get deep! We loved the sanddollars, the clams, the crab and my youngest loved eating the sand lol

We went to Asia to visit family, and it was sunny and hot daily. A trip to the beach was fun, but needed lots of sunscreen for protection

Our sunniest trip was last week … we spent a few days playing around Orlando at various theme parks. We were outdoors non-stop, and my skin is still angry at the sunscreen we used. I might have to give this stuff a try.
