I don’t get out much. With a three-year-old and an infant in tow, clothes shopping has become a thing of the past. Or a rare indulgence. More and more often, I find myself shopping online. (Which of course is tough without knowing the fit.)
Hint: Know your measurements, not just your sizes. Get a measuring tape ($3 at a craft store) and have a friend take your bust, waist, hip and inseam measurements. Viola!
For two months now, I’ve been shopping (or at least window shopping) at RedTagCrazy.com. And let me be straightforward here: If you buy something with the Get Five Dollars Off Your First Purchase link in this review, I get $5. Total disclosure! But those five dollars? Can only be spent at RedTagCrazy.com. Do I mind? No. Because I am seriously, seriously obsessed.
When I see 95% off my brain goes haywire with joy. Dudes. That’s a lot off. And yeah, a lot of times it’s something ugly and I’m going SERIOUSLY PEOPLE A TWO HUNDRED DOLLAR TANK TOP? That makes me want to hurl.
But designer denim? I have seen the light. Designer denim makes my ass sparkle. Sparkle.

And once in a while sales come up that I absolutely have to jump on. Like the cute Mucha-inspired long tee shirt I will be wearing to BlogHer with a pair of Kasil jeans.
Part of the fun to me is that RedTagCrazy.com behaves like Woot.com. It’s just one sale at a time. Except it’s more like a a “Woot Off” because instead of being one sale a day, the sales occur every 10 minutes to half an hour on average.
My husband knows the look of the site by heart, because I check it about 40 times a day. He walks by and says, “wow, you’re on there again.”
But the other night he actually stopped and watched the page refresh a few times. “Okay, I can see why people like this,” he admitted. (He’s a Woot.com and Slickdeals.net fan.)
If you’re shopping for an upcoming vacation, conference or just because you need some retail therapy, you might find something amazing on Red Tag Crazy without having to spend more than $20.
Cool stuff:
- They offer all sorts of optional alerts if you want to be updated when the sales roll around.
- Once you purchase something, you can save it in your cart for a while. After that, any additional items are just 99 cents to ship.
- All clothes are photographed on REAL women, not on forms. Each item usually has at least five different shots. That being said, those real women are like 22-years-old and size 2.
- HOWEVER, real shoppers post photos of their shipments so you can easily see the items on various body types.
- The customer support team is super friendly. I went nuts and bought an $8 shirt in the wrong size the other day and the live chatting service rep switched it out for me within two minutes.
- Cool brands I see in Cookie Magazine. Which makes me feel hip and stuff. (Like Hudson jeans, Joe’s Jeans, and Kowboys & Co.
- The live chat on the home page is fun, if not a total time suck.
Today, July 10th, they’re having an all day sale with new items. Which might not matter to you if you’re new anyway. But I’m excited about fresh meat. On Saturday July 11th, they’re having an EVERYTHING IS UNDER $10 SALE. Dude. This is like porn for my little shopping frenzy brain. And on Sunday, they’re having a crazy sale, which means every deep discounts. (Just remember, items from Crazy Sales only cannot be returned.)
So! If you stop by and find something you like (and if it’s your first purchase) you can use my link for $5 off your first purchase
. That means on Sunday you might find something awesome for just five dollars. Happy Hunting!

Great Review. I think I could have written the same exact thing about 2 months ago.
After 10 months of activly shopping with RedTagCrazy and about 115 purchase deep, I have to say that recently, their “designer” selection has been off. I really don’t consider “airwalks or Dickie’s” to be “designer”
On another subject, they used to offer deeeeep discounts on awsome clothes… you would find some things at 85-90% off at times. They are averaging about 50-55% off these days which you can pretty much find at any sample sale sites.
And, on a sad note, received clothing has recently been damaged. Shirts with holes, jeans with holes, seems undone. Wrong styles or sizes received in packages. I realize they don’t make the clothes at RTC but, inspections of clothing should be made before shipping to customers.
Unfortunatly, I’ve stopped shopping there because of this along with severe customer service issues.
I hope your experiences have been better than mine!
