Dead & Buried movie full As I’ve documented here a bunch, I cloth diaper my son. However, he sleeps in disposable diapers at night. I also used disposable diapers with my first son for the duration of his diaper-wearing days.
I got a Diaper Dekor from my mom for my first baby shower, and I’ve been using it since. I’ve never used a Diaper Genie so I can’t compare, but according to my mom who used them in the past, the Dekor is easier. I think it’s better looking, personally.
The Dekor is super easy to use. It’s basically like a snazzy pail. The inside liner creates a giant sausage of dirty diapers. When the pail is full, you open the hatch, pull the sausage out, re-tie the sausage skin liner, and start all over. Loading a new set of liners can be slightly complicated, but that’s only because I am really bad at constructing anything. The folks at Regal Lager let me take the newer model on a test run, and I loved the updated look. The gray lid and base really add to the snazziness of the design.
Austin Powers: International Man of Mystery movie Paint Your Wagon download
My Diaper Dekor genuinely keeps the stink inside. My kids have extremely stinky poops. And I’m lazy. I let that sucker fill to the very last bit of its capacity and the stink never escapes.
The Dekor comes in three sizes. The smallest holds up to 30 diapers. (Make sure you ball them up first for maximum capacity and minimum stinkiness.) The middle size, Dekor Plus, holds 40 diapers. They also make an extra large version for daycares, adult diapers, and multiple kids in diapers. The large one holds over 50 diapers.
The Dekor website suggested using the Diaper Dekor as a disposal system for dirty kitty litter clumps. Brilliant! If I still had cats I’d totally give that a try.
Refill liners can be purchased at various stores or online.
My favorite thing about the Diaper Dekor, particularly the smallest size, is that it has a fairly fashionable look. (As far as trash cans go.) It doesn’t look trashy (pun intended) in my baby’s bedroom.

Always carry an extra change of clothes for baby, you never know when a blowout may occur! Also carry a sealable plastic bag to store the soiled clothes.
My first grandchild is due in January & this would make a wonderful shower gift! Thanks
I learned some great tips for greener living, such as using rechargeable batteries instead of throwing out the one-time use ones.
I would love this for my son’s room, as we just switched to disposibles because of my return to work and I need something odor-free to keep the used ones in so I don’t have to keep running to the garage.

I love that it is handsfree. I also like that it is available at a lot of stores online because there aren’t any near me that carry it.

Its handsfree
I think the best thing about this product is that it’s hands free and you can even be carrying a baby on your hip while getting rid of diapers! I wished I had many a product that didn’t require the use of my hands when I had my babies!

I learned that it is hands free. It can be used with baby in tow. Sounds wonderful.
I like the idea of always carrying a changing pad. you never know what germs may be lurking.
I learned that most stores and restaurants provide a changing station, but unfortunately they aren’t the most sanitary places to change your baby. Be versatile and learn how to change dirty diapers in the appropriate setting, wherever you are.
I learned that they also sell a Soft Touch Changing Cushion that has inflatable sides and a seat belt.

I like the fact that it is easier to use than the diaper genuine. And it converts to a trash can.

I love that it has a Foot Pedal for Hands-Free Operation. I never have a free hand when I am dealing with a baby and a toddler
I learned that it will hold about 30 diapers – that’s a lot!
I need a Diaper Dekor plus because like you I plan to use cloth diapers during the day and disposables at night and when the grandparents are here to help out. We are expecting our first baby and are overwhelmed with all the things we need to buy and think about! This would be a big help.
Hmmm..they actually recommend using the AC in your car instead of windows. Plus I love how green the company is

I need this because our other diaper genie broke, so every diaper change we go from my son’s room down 2 flights of stairs out to the garage to throw it away – and I am tired!
the tips site is great, they say always carry an extra change of clothes with you in your diaper bag or the car, for those unexpected moments when the diaper doesn’t do its duty or when your toddler (who is potty training) forgets she is potty trained.

I also like the fact that it holds 12x more diapers than the other brands. And i can use it as a garbage can for the room when im done with it. I like the unique trap door so that was another think i found interesting . Great contest!!!!

The fact that it somes in 3 sizes is fantastic. I received a Diaper Genie with my first baby….. I hated it ….too small and didnt work well. This one sounds great!

Tip #5 Get a good diaper bag
Consider your diaper bag your swiss army knife as it is your lifeline when away from home. Make sure you get one that is comfortable and big enough for all those items you think you will need. There are many fashionable alternatives that can double as purses after diaper duty. “

I leanred that it is designed to become a regular trash can once you are no longer using diapers. That’s pretty cool!
I already knew this, but carry wipes is SUCH a great suggestion. I found myself without a wipe once when we had a bit of a blow out while out on errands. Luckily, I found another nanny nearby who had plenty to spare. But I’ve learned my lesson on that!

I need a Diaper Dekor as right now I have a three month old beautiful baby girl and have no diaper disposal system so it gets pretty stinky sometimes. My hubby lost his job before christmas so we’re just trying to make ends meet.

I learned (and love!) that it’s hands free – I can just use my foot to open and toss the diaper right in. Perfect, less germs! (ick)
Tip #1 Carry a changing pad
A portable changing pad can be very convenient when unexpected diaper changes occur. Simply lay the changing pad on a flat surface for easy use. When selecting a changing pad, ensure the changing pads are super-soft for baby’s comfort, easy to clean material and machine washable. For protection, look for changing pads with safety straps to secure changing pad and sides to protect baby.
I learned there is actually a store about 30 minutes from me that carries the diaper dekor!
