Wearing the baby in a sling (front) sounded like a good idea and I was all gungho, but I could never get it and the baby to be comfortable for a decent length of time. And call me paranoid, but I didn't like the idea of the backpack 'cause I was always afraid that something weird would happen and I wouldn't have a clue... I don't know - like some bird droppings falling on her head or something. B.. I experimented with slings (and a lot of other things) with my firstborn hat never saw the light of day with my second. Funny how everyone wants to tell you what you “should” do. All the little ones have their own personalities. Some just are not cut out for packing on the back or slings.
