Though I love the idea of baby wearing, I have two babies. And wearing two babies just seems – well, um, difficult?
But I knew that for my husband and I to be able to wear a baby sometimes would be super handy. So when we registered for a baby-wearing device, we went with the basics: the Baby Bjorn. Everyone we knew told us we needed a Bjorn. So two Bjorns, we purchased.
The Baby Bjorn is the trusty, go-to brand of baby sling that features attractive Scandinavian people on the box and the website.
But there’s more to a Baby Bjorn than that.
The Bjorn is sleek, trendy and modern looking. It comes in lots of different styles and colors to coordinate with your personal tastes and your other baby gear. You can wear the baby facing toward you or facing outward, depending on the baby’s age and level of head control. It adjusts to accommodate the baby’s length and weight, too. The straps feel comfy and secure around the shoulders and criss-crossed on the back.
Getting the hang of putting the baby in the Baby Bjorn by myself wasn’t nearly as difficult as I thought it would be, but it did require my girls to have a good bit of head control before I could try it.

In the beginning, I used the Baby Bjorn to save my sanity when one of the babies was screaming her head off but I had stuff to do around the house, like eat. I’d just sling a baby in and within two or three minutes, she’d be dead asleep.
We first tried the Baby Bjorn with the baby facing outward when they were 12 weeks old. They loved being able to see all around. Facing outward, they were also free to move their hands and arms however they liked (especially handy during the fist-sucking phase).
And surprisingly, they fell asleep just as easily facing outward as they did facing inward.
If you’re like me, where you’re not sure you’re “into” baby wearing and you just need a place to start, the Baby Bjorn is perfect for you. It’s very guy friendly too, which in my house was extremely important. Oh, and you won’t feel like a total douchebag wearing it either, Mom.
I should mention, though, that my co-Your Mama, Maria, has back problems and found the Bjorn to not favor her physical malady as much as other slings. I have a funky lower back from the massive belly I grew during pregnancy but don’t have any problems with the Baby Bjorn. Your mileage may vary.

The eat and play smock is fantastic. The easy button fasten system at the back makes removal easy for mom – but not for your toddler!

We LOVE the Baby Bjorn training potty. We bought it in green and will use with both our son and our daughter. It is the perfect size, it is easy to clean and very functional. Highly recommend for potty training- our son loves it too!

Wow I really like Baby Bjorn . I didnt know they made utensils for babys. The plate and spoon are great as the plate has a rubber base that makes sure it stands steadily on the table, and the shape of the edge makes it harder for small hands to grab the plate and throw it away. I like the Babysitter Balance Air – it looks so airy and breathable. I think it’s great that it’s made out of mesh and that the fabric is easy to wash and quick to dry (since babies have this tendency to puke and make a lot of other messes!)
They also make a potty chair with an inner potty that has a high splashguard and is easy to remove, empty and clean. Great colors and looks simple and the whole thing looks easy to clean!
The BABYBJÖRN Plate and Spoon make it easier for children to eat by themselves. The three-leaf clover shape of the plate makes it easier for the child to scoop up food with his spoon rather than pushing it around in circles.
They also make BabyBjorn Bathroom products. I like how the company works closely with pediatricians.

I absolutely LOVE the Little Potty. It is a must have for anyone potty training or with small ones. I use it as a take and go for the car. We have avoided SO MANY accidents because we have this portable potty with us for those ‘can’t wait moments’.

I really love babybjorn products they are so simple yet sturdy compared to other carriers that just seem (cheap). My friend bought an infantino carrier and she would start off the day with the baby in the right position and then in a few hours the baby had ended up by her knees the straps kept pulling the baby down… The quality of Babybjorn is so much better than other carriers. I really like the BabyBjorn Cover. It allows you to walk outside when it rains or snows and baby is protected and its machine washable.

Okay, the BabyBjorn Travel Light Crib looks awesome!! It took several minutes for me and a friend to figure out how to set up the pack-n-play I currently own. BabyBjorn’s Travel Light Crib just pops right up into place! Perfect!
