Breastfeeding and sexiness rarely go hand in hand. Let’s face it, it’s hard to find a nursing bra with even a shred of sex appeal. To top that off, most nursing moms are also leaking moms. Extra bonus? Breastfeeding contributes to vaginal dryness. Overall, you have a lose-lose situation in the sack.
Luckily, products like feminine moisturizers and lubrication can really help. And a few nursing bra brands have gone out of their way to create nursing bras with sexy colors, lace, and styles. Passion Spice (“for the sexy mom in you”) is one of them.
Passion Spice sent me an Elle nursing bra and panty set in a lovely teal shade. http://www.passionspice.com/nursing-bras/elle-nursing-bra.html I can’t even begin to explain my excitement over wearing a matching bra and panty set. (That’s sort of unheard of unless you’re matching white to white or black to black, and even that is fake-matching in my opinion.)
The Elle bra has very frilly shoulder straps—it’s definitely more of a lingerie type bra than one you would wear under a tight tee shirt or tank. However, it’s great under a low cut blouse or sweater thanks to the balconette style cups. If you’re anti-frilly-straps, Passion Spice carries another sexy bra, the Carla nursing bra
, that has thin straps and adorable ribbon trim.

I never wear underwire bras so I was a little concerned about this one having an underwire. But thanks to the special “lactation safe” underwire I didn’t find it uncomfortable at all.
The Elle bra fabric is soft and cool to the touch. It’s a little bit like satin, but much more wearable. Since it’s microfiber, it’s also kinder to you if you’re a little on the leaky side.
The cups were easy to open and flopped down far enough for the baby to eat despite the slight padding. To be honest, there’s nothing super functional or necessary about having a lingerie/nursing bra. You’re probably capable of changing into a normal bra for nookie and then back into a nursing bra for the rest of the night or day.
That being said, for a lot of women, it feels nice to simply know that you’re wearing something a little scintillating under your shirt. Especially if your shirt has spit up on it.
This isn’t a sleep bra or workout bra, but it’s very comfortable. Don’t let the frills fool you. I felt amazing in it all day.

- Wide, frilly straps (not great under tank tops)
While I’m not a big lingerie gal, I know women who absolutely will not leave the house without matching bras and panties. If you’re that type, Passion Spice has great undergarments to get you through pregnancy and nursing. Unlike other delicate, pretty (celebrity-founded) nursing and maternity lingerie lines I’ve found—the prices are completely reasonable. The models used in their photography are normal-shaped. Many of the images feature mom and baby together. I really appreciate the image and tone of the site along with the selection and great prices. (Also, dude. They carry garter belts that match some of the nursing bras. For $9. Score.)

That’s amazing. I had a hard enough time finding any kind of nursing bra that would actually FIT and be comfortable when I shot up to a 38/40 DD. I couldn’t believe that most of the nursing bras I saw in stores only went up to a C or D cup.
Now that I’m a mom, simply putting on a dress and makeup makes me feel sexy. Probably because I don’t do it unless we’re going out somewhere without the kiddo. (Dresses are pretty unworkable when nursing.)
Those bras look awesome!! I feel sexy just putting on a nice dress and doing my hair. And it definitely helps when my husband notices :)

Sexy? Shaving my legs! These bras? I’m disappointed…. As usual, the bra manufacturers have yet to figure out that a smaller frame does not equate to smaller boobs. There is no way that my rack would fit in a 34D. Put a few more Ds after that and we’d be talking. And I have yet to find a 36DD that fit in the first 6 months of nursing. I’ll stick with my bravados.
I feel sexy when I get new clothes, or get my hair cut. That said maternity clothes are not the sexiest! At least there is more choice these days.
I think I’d put the gift certificate towards either the Carla Orchid nursing bra, or maybe the Amor Pink nursing bra. I didn’t even know lactation safe underwire was possible!
What makes me feel sexy? That’s a tough question these days, but when I get the chance to take a shower, shave, and lotion up afterward, all without being interrupted by the baby crying, I feel pretty hot!

Nothing makes me feel sexy but If I had to pick it would be having a new bra.
What makes me feel sexy? A nice complimentary fitting bra that makes “the girls” look nice. Frills and lace are good but the moist important thing for me is the fit.
Nothing kills the sexy feeling like having to wrestle yourself in to a bra our outfit or keep adjusting it because it doesn’t fit right.
I think the Carla Black Underwire Nursing Bra is very cute but the Amor Nursing Bra looks like something that would be better for me as it is free of underwire.
Having sexy underwear and bras do make me feel sexy. Same with being naked under beautiful robes ;)
