Call me a terrible mom (okay, please don’t), but one of my daughters went around with eczema on the backs of her legs for weeks and I had no idea what it was. I was rubbing Desitin on the irritated, scaly red patches for weeks with no improvement.
It wasn’t until I was handing my little one over to Maria to hold for a minute that the experienced mom said to me, “She has eczema?”
Oh. Is that what that is?
Maria gave me a tube of TriDerma Baby to try out. TriDerma is a line of skin products that promises to alleviate all sorts of skin problems, from scars to adult acne to bruises. The TriDerma Baby line has three creams: one for diaper rash, one for extreme itch/dryness and an all-purpose cleansing gel.
The cream I tried for extreme itching and dryness is safe for all ages and even the most sensitive skin. Best of all, it’s cortisone free and medical strength.
The cream is lightweight and non-greasy, so I was a little skeptical that it would work on the nasty patches my daughter had. I started applying the cream to her problem areas three times a day and after baths. As you can see by this photo, it started out pretty bad – red, scaly, flaky. Gross.
By day three, I noticed that the redness was still there but the scaling was completely gone. By day six, there was hardly a hint of pink. By day eight, there was practically zero evidence that there was ever a problem to begin with. (Yes, these photos are of the same baby!)
I’m totally sold on TriDerma Baby. I noticed that they sell a separate eczema healing cream that is sold only online, but the one for itch and dryness worked great and is available in store. I barely used but a little blob for each application, so the tube should last a while – well worth the $15 price tag to have a beautiful baby with equally beautiful skin.

One of my children has Juvenile plantar dermatosis and I am always on the lookout for creams to try for his poor feet. I would love to try Triderma!
The children always have dry skin
wow i love to try this stuff out add me on in thanks
Well, I don’t have any kids but my cousin is having twin girls this summer (anything I win goes to her twin baby basket!), and she already has a toddler. So I’m thinking that any product that makes a nasty rash go away that quickly will be wonderful for her with the double handfull she’ll be dealing with!

Both of my kids are blessed with eczema, we would love to try this out. I would love to have my husband try it as well, poor guy didn’t even know that was what he had until after we were married (he was dealing with it for around 24 years until I helped him figure out what it was). There really isn’t much out there that feels safe to use, especially long term, thank you for this information!
has exemia hopefully it will cure it mverno@roadrunner.com
My family suffer with extremely dry skin. TriDerma’s product will help relieve the itching and dry skin.

I always get “jock itch” when the weather turns warmer. I would like to try this to see if it would help relieve the pain and itchiness associated with this.

I’d love to try this cream. We just returned from a beach vacation & I have sun poisoning, very itchy & dry.
Actually, I’m entering on behalf of one of the many currently pregnant friends I have. It sounds like a great product to have on hand, even if you don’t have an immediate need for it. (I myself could’ve used it a month ago–I had a weird, persistent, itchy rash on my hand.)

i’m due in oct and could use anything since i’m a first time mom, thanks for the contest.
My neice has very bad eczema and she is only two years old! I really hope this cream can help her!
great for my grandsons eczema.
Don’t feel bad – I did the same thing with my daughter. I thought it was little diaper rashes that weren’t going away. I pointed them out at a her 2year well visit and her doc perscribed a steroid cream for her to use in 2 week intervals, which works, but it always comes back and I’m just not comfortable using it on her. Great to know there’s another option out there that might actually work! Thanks for the post =)
My youngest has severe eczema and I hate using the steroid creams. I would like to try this.
I’d use it on my son. He has several dry itchy patches that never seem to go away, no matter how much lotion we put on him.
This would be helpful for my husband. He has a patch on his back that is always red and itchy and I would love to be able to find something for him that actually works!

I’ve got several dry, itchy spots (and an appt. w/the dermatologist but I can’t get in for a month) so I would really enjoy trying this in the meantime because nothing seems to be working.
My little one has really dry skin on his face..we would use the cream to help soften his skin on his face.
would love to try this for myself, i suffer from alligator skin. i’ve tried just about every lotion out there. nothing works, not even the healing and extremely dry ones. i’ve even gone so far as to put tons of lotion on my hands and feet and stick them in bags to help the lotion soak in, all to no avail.
This could definitely help the red patches on my baby girl. Sounds like a great product.
OMG…..How cute! I would love to WIN this! Please enter me & thanks for the great giveaway =)
