Your Mama Loves Pockets of Sage

The morning Adam and I walked around the St. Augustine Saturday Morning Market, I was miserable. I was 30 weeks pregnant, swollen, hot, tired and sore. We were on our ‘babymoon,’ our last little hurrah before the baby arrived and stole our freedom enriched our lives. As I was trudging from one organic vegetable stand to the next, I came across Pockets of Sage and Sarah, the very sweet owner/propietor/crafty-goddess. She could see I was tired and uncomfortable, and she empathized.

sage1As I browsed her unique bags and swooned over her adorable daughter, Sage, she inquired about my pregnancy. “What are you having?” she asked. “We didn’t find out.” “No? It’s a girl.” she says, confidently. Lo and behold.

Her collection of bags stood out from any I’d seen at farmer’s markets before- she uses unique, high quality Amy Butler fabrics with interesting style, rugged liners, and enough pockets to be both useful and cute. On top of that, everything was affordable – like $35 or less for each bag.

Yup, that's my baby with her binky holder.I bought three bags – two for the girls throwing my baby shower, and one for myself. I also bought a binky-holder bib that I just recently came to value (as sand-covered pacifiers make beach naps even more difficult than they already are).

When I got home from the weekend, I decided to look her up to see if she had a website, so I could send my friends her way as they covet my bag. Sure enough, she’s got a website and an Etsy shop. She’s just a mom trying to work from home to stay with her daughter, like me. I can support that, and so should you.

Free Stuff Alert!

I emailed Sarah and told her I was going to review her bags since I think they’re so cute, and she graciously offered to give one away to our lucky readers!!! She’s offering the Carraway CarryAll seen here. It’s worth $38, and is one of her bigger handbags, full of pockets and cuteness.  It’s also available in her Etsy shop if you don’t win it, so you can go buy it and support her.  Here’s what ya gotta do:

REQUIRED for entry: Visit Pockets of Sage and tell us which bag you would choose if you could have just one.
